Trail Scout

My friend Terry and I got these bikes 2 weeks ago. After testing them out we're ready for our first trip. Going camping this weekend with these bikes up in the back country 25 miles in. It will be great!

Great bike! Just what I wanted.

Trail Scout

The Trail Scout is really powerful. It looks better than the photos and videos. The frame is beautiful and the paint is the best. I prefer the ride compared to the bikes with the battery behind the front wheel. It has an easy to work display with the thumb control pad USB for my phone, padded controls, lights, horn, and more features than my other bikes. I have a mid motor but i have to pedal all the time. I like this bike more because of the throttle. I ride it more often. So glad I went with ION! The only thing I had to do was get a larger saddle and waiting for the suspension seat post A great bike, pretty good on hard trails. A great choice. Love the bike.

Team Trail Scout

I wanted an electric mountain bike after riding with some friends that have them. I also didn’t want to have to spend six or seven thousand dollars. The Trail Scout has put me back on the trails I had given up on and did it for a reasonable price. One of my best bike purchases. Thank you Ion.

Trail Scout

Just had my one year tune up. Pick up and delivery service, cleaned, lubed, fully adjusted and just like brand new all over again. I can't thank you enough for the great service and the best bike i have ever owned.

Perfect for riding!

I bought this bike because it had all the gearing. Could not find another bike of this quality with the 27 speeds. The big test was to pedal it and I found it to be perfect for riding under any conditions, on or off road. This bike will go anywhere! Great customer service answered all my questions, very happy with the bike and service.

Trail Scout is what I was looking for!

I was told about ION by a hunter that has been riding a Trail Scout for the last 4 years. I can see why he said that he wouldn't buy any other bike! I've had mine for 2 months and all off road use. I highly recommend ION.

Best Survivalist eBike on the Market!

I was looking for a bug out ebike so I could get out of the city if there was a problem. I saw this bike recommended by a few people on a survivalist website. So I bought one for my wife and myself. WOW I took this bike off road and it is amazing. The only bike I found that could carry 350lbs and if you needed to pedal it with 27 speeds it will go anywhere! Thanks Ion!

I'm 79 years old and have been riding bikes for a long time. I have raced bikes back in the day and see the superior quality and service from Ion. I bought my bike a while back and here because I wanted the upgrade. My TS is a great bike and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a bike that will last. Deny T.

My friend has one and I love it!

My buddy Jack has a trial scout and I recently took it out for a test ride. Now I know why he can pull away from me on this bike, it's so fast!. I should have ridden it sooner as I already bought one from another company and paid $4,500 for it. So I am planing on giving this bike to my wife and getting a trail scout. Simple!

Work Ride

Its obvious just by looking at the bike that the construction and materials used are quality. The battery charges in 6 hours. I rode it to work with me all week. I am very happy with my purchase. Fast service!Everything was great!Thank you :)

Very Dependable

I’ve had my Trail Scout a while now and I've ridden it 200 miles and I love it been very dependable . It’s really an inspiration to ride it’s giving me freedom that I haven’t had in the past because I’m 74 years old.

The Trail Beast

I bought this bike to replace my mid motor that was very problematic and full of maintenance issues. I wanted a bike to use off road. The big attraction with the Trail Scout was the 27 speeds. When I spoke with customer service they told me that I would have no problems pedaling this bike with the motor off. They were right this bike is really easy to pedal. When I saw that ION had a Super Sport upgrade I went for it. It gives up to 1500w peak power. Now my friends with their mid motor bikes have a hard time keeping up with me. With pedal assist I can get this bike up to 35mph. Wish I got this bike sooner and never bought that mid motor. The Trail Scout except for minor adjustments is maintenance free. Yeah! My next bike will be the ION Dually! This is the closet thing to riding my motorcycle!

SIMPLY THE BEST

I’m 6’3 and find the bike fits me well. I needed to adjust the handle bars to be a bit higher. I was very impressed that this bikes comes with everything. It’s fun to ride and had plenty of power when I need it and also gives me a workout when I don’t lean too much on pedal assist. It is a light bike for an ebike and solidly built. Mine arrived pretty much ready to go after some minor brake adjustments. I bought a bike for my wife from a competitor and she didn't like it. She rides mine whenever she can. I will end up buying an ION for her too. Super easy to assemble. Overall, great bike!

Best purchase!

Received my bike a couple of months ago and it's awesome. I’ve ridden it many times with one trip around 60 miles and it performed flawlessly. Battery lasts quite a long time. Motor really helps to make hills a lot more enjoyable to ride. I would have written this sooner but I have been riding my bike in all my spare time. From my experience I would definitely recommend this bike .

Like the energizer bunny it keeps going.

I have over 1,500 mikes on my trail scout. Only things that was needed were a few adjustments. One of the reasons I really like this bike is that is pretty much maintenance free. Not interested in taking my bike to a shop every few months to have service done. Thanks ION at least you are still making great maintenance free bikes.

Love my Trail Scout!

It’s a beast! Went with the ION because of the styling, it’s less “ebike” and more “Electric Mountain Bike”. So far I’m really impressed with the bike and the company. I really like the customer service the techs are there to walk you through any adjustment or operations of the bike and it’s components. Their assistance so far has kept me out of the bike shop for simple things like brake and shifting adjustments. The after sale support for the ION bike seems pretty strong. My only gripe is I don't have time to ride it more.

Trail Scout

First e-bike purchase and we love it. It’s sturdy, overall weight is easy to manage. Love the 27 speeds! I can pedal this bike all day long. Great exercise machine. Also has great power and long lasting battery. Very easy to ride and a lot of fun. Definitely buying more bikes in future.

Great bike highly recommend!

I'm recommending this bike to anyone I know. The best off road bikes that I found at this price point. It's got great power and can get you up any hilly road. After 1000+ miles I don't have any complaints. I also enjoy how the bike frame is big and open, allowing for accessories like extra batteries and bags to be added.

Best purchase!

It's a really great bike overall. There are quite a few quality of life functions that are nice, horn, 2 USB ports The top speed in throttle only mode is pretty decent (I purchased the upgraded super sport) and I can get a top speeds over 30. Assembly was fairly quick, just attach the front wheel, pedals, and handle bars and you're good to go.

The esthetic of this ebike are great. It looks mean, tough, while inducing a desire to take off and see where the road takes you. Excellent customer service too.

Very satisfied!!!

My bike arrived on time and in excellent shape. Putting it together was a breeze. Then I took it for a ride. Awesome bike, performed excellently. Power to spare and I'm just totally impressed with the performance of this bike. It's a beast and people asked me about it, I let a couple of guys ride it and they're ordering their own. I did a lot of research on ebikes and it came down to buying an ION. It is definitely very satisfying for me.

Exactly what I wanted

This bike has all the power that I needed to get up the toughest hills. Power mode while pedaling on a flat section of road at 31 mph! Even got me up a very steep hill with pedal assist that I was unable to conquer with my previous ebike. I’ve been adding accessories including another seat and suspension seat post which has truly given me an exceptionally comfortable ride. It’s my work commuter with a 20 mile round trip that this bike can handle easily on a signal charge. Love this bike!

The best!

What a great bike, love the bigger battery and the off road capability. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a very cool and functional ebike. There is no need to look at any other brand ION has you covered.

Trial Scout

This bike is a gas to ride. Very Fast!. Yes, with bikes, you kind of get what you pay for. If your looking for high performance this is the bike for you I got the Super Sport upgrade. Highly recommended for a geezer like me and getting back into it for some exercise. Getting out and riding the trails and with the lights, horn and rack having a great time commuting to work.

Great value for money！

After conducting an extensive review of all the E-bikes within my budget ($3- $4k) I finally decided on the ION as it checked all the boxes.<br /> Delivery was delayed due to mislabeling by UPS. Arrived with no damage within 5 days which was great.<br /> Assembly was easy and I was off riding my bike within an hour.

I love riding the bike

Great E-bikethis bike is a hell of a lot of fun to ride! I was able to take it up many logging roads while in the Idaho area. we have recently moved to the Wyoming, we are in the back countryside and I take this bike down to the local post office everyday to receive our mail. it is perfect for road and trail riding . One of the best purchases

Fantastic Bike!

When we decided to buy one or two bikes, we looked at many models. Hands-down I would say that the ION's are the best hands-down. It’s a little bit more money than I want to spend but has more features than the other bikes I was looking at. But it’s ergonomically suitable and solid and everything is condensed. I love the way the battery fits into the frame. It’s absolutely worth the money. You will not be disappointed.

Rock Solid

I have several hundred miles on my new bike in the last couple weeks. I only have good things to report. Bike has great balance, a low center of gravity, handles on rails, trails and street. Fast. Fun. Solid. Well built and the design is very unique. The frame is a work of art. Well done. The takeaway- I got a chance to compare my bike to several other brands since i got it. This bike is easily the highest ranking. Would/will buy again. Great experience.

Trail Scout

I have the Trailscout. I got it at the end of last summer. I use it almost daily. I think its a really good bike. I took it on some local trails and had a blast. Used it to get groceries a bunch of times and go to the hardware store. I ride with the pedal assist in ECO mode and I still get plenty of exercise. I like the gearing and use all of them at one time or an other. Live in So Cal and got the bike delivered fully built and ready to ride. Just got it serviced and ready for this summer- ran over a huge screw and needed a new back tire. Pick up and delivery, new tire, they tuned it up, lubed it and even gave it a cleaning. Bike rides so good I had to give them credit. Great service.

Trail Buddy

Came back to get new tires-online. Called up to get an answer and told them how much I love my bike. They asked for a review. My bike is the best thing I've ever done for myself and my wife. I call it my buddy, like a horse. I pack it up and head off for the afternoon down the bike trail to the old hiking trial and my outlook for some me time. I really like the gearing with the options of 3 chainrings and the 9 speed. The trail has some steep grades and the motor helps quite a bit getting up them but I still have to pedal on a few spots and the gearing is perfect. I love the ride quality and the fenders and rack make it easy to keep my gear clean. Balance and handling are spot on and brakes work great all the time. Easy maintenance and everything works as expected or better. Working on my second set of tires and got a deal on them also. I would buy again and did for my wife. We ride the bike trails to the park and picnic. Great company and great service.

Trail Scout 27 Speed

Keith & Ann Shiver - Maryville, TN. Just wanted you guys to know that we finally got the two bikes out for our inaugural ride the past Sunday. These bikes are AWESOME!, man we love them and the bikes are so smart with pedal assist and fast two! We did have a small issue with one battery, but you all were to great to work with. You corrected the issue and sent it back in a very timely manner. Also I had a little issue with a saddle bag installation and again so prompt and helpful and the issue was quickly resolved over the phone! If your in the market for a great eBike, look no further as we highly recommend these bikes.

Ion Trail Scout

My Ion E bike is the best thing I've done for myself. I can only state that I love this bike. My daily driver. My weekend get away. I ride this bike every chance I can. So many positive things. I'm 5'8 and my best friend is 6'5. We both can ride it - I don't know how they did it but the frame is just the right size for both of us. He bought a dual motor after riding my bike. Trail scout has very good balance and very easy to ride. The fat tires are awesome and never realized how much I love fenders on a bike before. The rack is very sturdy and I've put firewood on it to bring home, also it will carry a case of beverages - make sure you use plenty of bungees. I have had my bike for over a month, almost 2, no problems so far. Everything works really well. Bike has a horn and brake lights the dashboard is totally cool it lights up. The head light is bright, the horn is pretty loud little bike horn. The gears are the best. This is the only bike I could find with a front derailer. The gears are easy to find a good one. The customer service is the best. Everything was easy and honest. Will buy again if I ever need another bike, but honestly, this bike seems to be built very well and might out last me. Yes, my friends have bought after seeing my bike. I really like the way Ion does it's bikes, a very happy customer.

Trail Scout 27 Speed

This is my second Ion trail scout. I got a trailscout a couple years ago and when I saw the new improved one I was sold. My new bike is much more versatile than my first one. I like the full fenders and rack, makes life so easy to get things done. I use this bike around my summer camp and now that the cold weather is here I plan on using it for quick errands around the house. My first bike was fun in the snow, this one is so much better, it should be a blast. Definitely give Ion credit for doing the bike right.

I got the Trail Scout to ride in Danville. Having a great time on this bike. Happy that I found it on the net. I highly recommend this bike very versatile you can ride it on the trails and ride it on the street.

Great Bike!

Very easy to ride with 27 speeds. This is the reason I bought this bike. Fits real well. I was riding in the street and a car pulls up along side me and says that bike has brake lights. They were very impressed and so am I. I ride it to work everyday.

All Terrain Trail Scout

You asked me for some feedback well here it is. Riding this bike on the trails and off road for the last month. First I tested with the motor off and found with the 27 gears I could ride the bike very easily. It is more fun using the motor, this bike can climb any hill. The only thing that needs to be upgraded is to suspension seat post. That's all you need to do because this bike comes with everything else. Overall thoughts are great bike and you can't go wrong by getting one.

First Ride On My Trail Scout

Got the bike yesterday boy do you guys pack this bike well! Took the bike out for its first ride and was very impressed. Like Art said with 27 speeds there is a gear that will be easy to ride in. Very happy to get this bike at this price. BTW great customer service too

Trail scout

I love this bike really happy I got it. Was hesitant to purchase online without riding but the bike looked just like my old mountain bike that I've had and always loved riding. Same riding position only a bunch more fun and much faster and easier to ride and enjoy. Good value and built solid. Had some concerns, but the bike is well put together and rides really smooth. I really -really cant say enough about the big tires - just great.
